Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
This policy explains what Advising.com collects when you use advising.com, and how we use it. We collect very little.
What we collect
When you request an intro, we store:
- the email address you enter;
- when you first and last sent it;
- how many times you sent it.
We do not ask for your name. This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see how many people visit and how fast our pages load. It records the page you view, the site that sent you, your country, your device, browser and operating system, and page-speed timings. We see these numbers only as totals. Cloudflare says Web Analytics does not collect visitors’ personal data or track people across websites.
How we prevent spam
To stop repeated or automated requests, we count how often requests arrive. For these counts we store one-way, keyed hashes of your IP address and email address, not the addresses themselves. We remove old counts automatically.
How we use your email
We use your email to answer your request and to stay in touch about Advising.com. We do not sell or rent it.
Who else handles your data
Cloudflare hosts this site, runs our analytics and stores the data above. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles technical data, such as your IP address, to deliver and protect the site. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
We share your email only with service providers that help us run Advising.com, such as our email provider, and only for that purpose. We also share data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your email until you ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it.
Your choices
You can ask us to show, correct or delete your data, or to stop contacting you. Email hello@advising.com. The laws where you live may give you more rights. We will honor them.
Children
This site is not for children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date above.
